Everyday I try to ride this day for tomorrow. What I do today will be the basis of tomorrow - and I want tomorrow to be better than both yesterday and today. You can't reach the top of the line based on talent only. Your attitude and your way to succeed to yourself is also very important factors in achieving what you want.
I don't ride just to please myself. I ride to please my horse so much, that I will be pleased. After all - they'll win every fight anyway.
Therefore:
· Play
· Make Their Day
· Chose Your Attitude
· Be There
I'm currently studying at the "EuroTeam" which is a business degree with focus on the international Europe.
After the European Championships in 2010 we had some contacts in Ireland who might be interested in our ponies - and who also had a lot of very, very good junior-horses.
We decided to go to Ireland - and my national coach, Lars Christensson, joined our company. After all - he's the man with the contacts.
I tried lots and lots of extremely good horses and was offered 3 jobs as a rider. Especially one of these offers seemed interesting. So when I came home I had some time to think about things and ... well - yes, that's when I decided to go to Ireland.
After a 2-month stay with Carol Gee at Fernhill Sport Horse Centre in Ireland I came back to Denmark to finish my studies.
I'm preparing myself for my next years as a junior rider, where my goal is to win medals at the European Championships already this year. Our national coach Lars Christensson has been very involved in finding the perfect horse for me - and in February 2011 we finally found her!
Until then it had been the plan that I should ride some horses for Carol Gee in Ireland, but destiny wanted it differently. And I now have a Danish horse in mhy stable - the amazing Toftegårdens Carisma who has previously been ridden by Lærke Larsen, who is one of the best Danish eventing riders. Carisma has all the qualities and all the international experience that we have been looking for, and I am extremely happy and humbled by having been given the chance to ride such a fantastic horse!
For 2012 I'm working hard to prepare my youngster "Stærebogårds Ajour" for his first competitions as well as improving my results on "Carisma". Finally it's my hope that I will succeed in getting one more experienced eventer in the stable!
“Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can become great!”
